Tiffany Park Elementary PTA |
Tiffany Park PTA strives to support and advocate for our children by partnering with staff, families, and the wider community to create a safe and healthy learning environment where students can excel to reach their full potential.
Values guide our behavior and establish a legacy for our students, families, and the surrounding community. In order to be a great organization, we need to always honor our core values:
INTEGRITY
Integrity is at the heart of everything we do. We are honest, ethical, and upfront because trust is at the foundation of our relationships with our students, their families, our teachers, our communities, and each other.
RESPECT
We know it is critical that we respect everyone at every level of our organization. We champion integrity, embrace individuality, and listen carefully when others speak. Likewise, we will dress in a respectful manner.
EXCELLENCE
We hold ourselves to a very high standard of performance. We prize innovative ideas and the teamwork it takes to make them realities. We never stop asking ourselves how we can make the school service or activity experience better.
ACCOUNTABILITY
We take responsibility for our actions as individuals, as team members, and as an organization. We work together, support one another and never let the students — or our fellow PTA volunteers — down. Great organizations are judged by what they do, not by what they say. To be the best, we're going to keep pushing ourselves in new and exciting directions, while honoring tradition where appropriate.
The PTA organizes many school events to lift the burden off of teachers and school personnel such as the Vision Screening in the Fall, providing food for the teachers during the Parent/Teacher Conferences, Popcorn Friday in the school cafeteria, etc. The PTA also helps fund many events throughout the school year that our children look forward to year after year. See complete list below.
Student Enrichment Grants: Our SEGs are given to classroom teachers up to $100 for certified teachers to help with classroom costs throughout the year.
Weekly Readers: Our PTA pays for The Scholastic News/Weekly Readers that are used to support a variety of curriculum areas such as Social Studies, Health, Science and Reading.
Spring Book Fair: The PTA hosts one book fair to connect our students to the books they want to read. This benefits all grade level K-5th.
Fifth Grade Camp: This is an outdoor education program where students work together as a team to raise money to go to camp. The PTA gives the 5th graders a gift towards this event.
